SESAME Clinical Study

The SESAME study aims to evaluate the performance of the Apneal® device in diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome, using polysomnography as the gold standard. It focuses on a population of adult patients with sleep disorders requiring polysomnography as part of routine outpatient care.

Rights of Participants in the SESAME Study

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the provisions of French Law No. 78-17 on Information Technology, Data Files, and Civil Liberties, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access You have the right to access the information concerning you to verify its accuracy and, if necessary, correct, complete, or update it.
  • Right to Object: You have the right to object at any time to the transmission of your data and request that your data no longer be collected in the future. Exercising this right will result in the termination of your participation in the research.
  • Right to Restrict Data Processing: You have the right to temporarily block the use of your data, preventing any operations from being carried out on it.
  • Right to Request Data Deletion: You can request the deletion of your data during the research after withdrawing your participation or at the end of your participation. However, please note that useful data collected before exercising your right to object or withdrawing your consent may still be processed confidentially to avoid compromising the achievement of the research objectives.

If you wish to exercise these rights or obtain information about yourself, you should first contact the investigator or their designated representative conducting your research and familiar with your identity.
